Palmarosa

Palmarosa is a herbaceous plant that grows up to two meters in height. India and Pakistan are considered the birthplace of growth. From long and flexible stems, and intoxicating leaves, with the help of steam distillation, an essential oil is obtained.

Floral aroma with hints of geranium and rose, caramel and smoky with a pleasant bitterness, fresh oil has a more delicate aroma.

It has antiseptic, stimulating, regenerating, antiviral, tonic, antifungal, antioxidant, vaso-strengthening, insecticidal, bactericidal, deodorizing, moisturizing, antipyretic properties. Promotes the growth and renewal of skin cells. It has a beneficial effect on the body with bronchitis, reduced immunity, problems of the digestive tract, anorexia, depression and stress, immobility of joints, pustular rash. Relieves eye strain. Eases the condition with heat, sunstroke. Suitable for bath and all skin types.

For inhalation, dilute 2 drops of oil in one liter of hot water, breathe for no more than seven minutes. A mask of 5 drops of palmarose and two tablespoons of castor oil will help to get rid of dandruff, apply to the roots and keep for no more than an hour, then rinse with shampoo. With cellulite, you can make a cream from two drops of palmarose and cedarwood ether per 20 g of base, rub the mixture into problem areas daily.

Forbidden during pregnancy and children under 6 years of age. The dosage should be observed and a skin test done before using the oil.
