Cedar is an evergreen perennial tree that grows up to 50 meters in height. The trunk is completely covered with resin. Morocco and North Africa are considered to be the homeland. Lilac-green needles are collected in bunches. An essential oil is obtained from wood using steam distillation.

Muscat and resinous aroma, strong, reveals as sweet-woody.

It has antiseptic, antiviral, soothing, hormone-regulating, deodorizing, insecticidal, stimulating, expectorant, sedative, diuretic, antibacterial properties. It has a beneficial effect on the body with allergies, depression, insomnia, dandruff, hair loss, arthritis, pneumonia, colds, nervous tremors. Tightens small wounds. It is an aphrodisiac. Suitable for bath and sauna, problem and oily skin.

For massage or enrichment of home cosmetics, 5 drops are enough for every 15 ml. For hot inhalation, 3 drops of ether per 100 ml of water. For muscle pain, take a warm bath with 10 drops of oil for 20 minutes. For aromaculon you need two drops of cedar.

Forbidden for pregnant women, children under 6 years old. The dosage should be observed and a skin test done before using the oil.
