Salvia officinalis

Salvia officinalis is a perennial herb with branched stems and a strong root, the maximum height of which reaches up to one meter. The mountain slopes of the Mediterranean country are considered the birthplace of this shrub. Essential oil is obtained from leaves and inflorescences by steam distillation.

Herbaceous, cool aroma unfolds gently and easily, with a hint of walnut and pine.

It has anti-inflammatory, diuretic, antiseptic, antibacterial, deodorizing, warming, anticonvulsant, stimulating, relaxing, antispasmodic properties. For inhalation, add 3 drops of ether to a container filled with boiling water, and breathe for about 5 minutes. To stop inflammation of the middle ear, blot your ears with a cotton swab with two drops of sage before bed. Apply a compress to your hair for shine and softness.
