Oregano essential oil
Oregano is a perennial herb, so unpretentious and persistent that it even withstands Siberian frosts and severe droughts. The homeland of growth is considered to be Spain and the Mediterranean. The essential oil is obtained from oval gray-green leaves and small pale purple flowers by steam distillation.
Woody earthy, slightly spicy aroma, saturated with a fresh and tart shade.
It has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, soothing, bactericidal, expectorant, antispasmodic, stimulating, antioxidant, anti-spasmodic, healing properties. During a sore throat, eat 2 drops of ether with a spoonful of honey, recovery will come faster. For insect bites, spot the affected skin area. To get rid of toothache, dilute a spoonful of salt and 2 drops of oregano oil in a glass of warm water.
It is forbidden to use during pregnancy, children under 6 years of age, with diseases of the cardiovascular system. The dosage should be observed and a skin test done before using the oil.
