Essential oil of nutmeg
Nutmeg is the fruit of a perennial evergreen from which essential oil is obtained by steam distillation. The small tree reaches a height of about 12 meters, with yellow and fragrant flowers growing in the pauses between the leaves.
Light and fresh nutmeg aroma, sweet-spicy and thick with woody undertones.
It has antiseptic, stimulating, antiemetic, deodorant, general stimulating, diuretic, hemostatic, antispasmodic, tonic properties. It normalizes the work of the bronchi and increases their elasticity. It has a beneficial effect on the body for depression and insomnia, muscle pains, digestive disorders, neuralgia, bronchitis, nervous tension, impotence. It is an active stimulant of blood circulation and cardiac activity. It is considered one of the most powerful aphrodisiacs. Stimulates hair growth. Suitable for aging skin, massage and bath.
To relieve pain in 10 ml of vegetable oil add up to 10 drops of nutmeg, used as rubbing. To enrich home cosmetics for every 15 g of the base 2 drops of ether, for masks against hair loss, or to enhance growth, add 3 drops. For hot inhalation, one drop of oil per liter of water, the duration of the procedure should not exceed five minutes.
Forbidden for people with sensitive skin, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, with psychosis and epilepsy. The dosage should be observed and a skin test done before applying the oil.
