Myrtle essential oil
Myrtle is an evergreen woody plant with a maximum height of two meters. It has white fluffy flowers and fruits in the form of berries. Iran and North Africa are considered the birthplace of growth. Essential oil is obtained from smooth and leathery leaves, young shoots using steam distillation.
The fresh and sweet scent is reminiscent of cypress and eucalyptus, soft and tart.
It has immunomodulatory, cleansing, broncho-draining, antiviral, antiseptic, bacteriostatic properties. It has a beneficial effect on the body with facial tics, hyperemia, depression, stress, acne, varicose veins, colds, reduced immunity, pneumonia, itching from insect bites, chronic cough. Improves the elasticity and conductivity of blood flows, strengthens the walls of blood vessels. It is used to care for oily hair. Suitable for all skin types, massage and bath.
For respiratory problems, rubbing will help, add 7 drops of oil to 10 grams of base. 4 drops of myrtle will suffice in a varomatic bath. For hot and cold inhalation, you need to use no more than two drops of ether, such a procedure should not exceed eight minutes.
The dosage should be observed and a skin test done before using the oil.
