Leuzea essential oil
Leuzea is a perennial herb of the alpine and subalpine belt, belongs to the Asteraceae family, capable of growing up to two meters in height. Rough and dense root system, smooth and large leaves, straight stem, flowers of this lilac herb, resemble miniature asters. The essential oil is obtained by water-steam distillation of leaves and inflorescences.
The scent is very contradictory, for one half of the people it seems pleasant, for the other it is quite the opposite. Sharp, tart, memorable fresh coolness.
It has analgesic, antispasmodic, expectorant, tonic properties. It normalizes blood pressure, has a beneficial effect on the heart and blood vessels. Helps with headaches, colds, hangovers, memory impairment, acne, insect bites, hypotension, fatigue, depression and anxiety. Increases libido equally in men and women. Suitable for massage and bath.
To strengthen the hair, we use a mask of chicken yolk and three drops of oil. To eliminate dermatitis, treat the affected areas with a solution from a glass of warm water and 5 drops of ether. A pinch of salt and one drop of ether diluted in tomato juice will help relieve alcohol syndrome.
Contraindicated in children under 6 years of age, not recommended for pregnant women. The dosage should be observed and a skin test done before using the oil.
